Acceptable use policy

CrawlPanel is built for authorized availability and journey monitoring—not scanning, exploitation, load generation or deceptive activity.

Effective July 25, 2026 · Draft for launch review

01

Authorized targets only

You may monitor systems you own, administer or have explicit permission to test. Monitoring third-party services is permitted only where your use is authorized and consistent with their terms.

You must be able to demonstrate authorization when activity creates a credible abuse report or operational risk.

02

Prohibited activity

Do not use CrawlPanel for port scanning, credential spraying, password guessing, vulnerability exploitation, scraping protected data, bypassing access controls, denial-of-service activity or uncontrolled concurrency.

Do not configure browser journeys to make destructive purchases, publish content, delete information, send unsolicited messages or perform other irreversible actions unless the target and test environment are explicitly controlled by you.

03

Responsible check design

Use the slowest interval that meets your operational need, choose safe test accounts and data, and respect target rate limits. Maintenance windows should be used during planned work.

Secrets must be stored through CrawlPanel secret references rather than embedded in URLs, step labels or assertions.

04

Evidence and personal data

Avoid collecting unnecessary personal or sensitive data in screenshots, console output or network evidence. Configure masks for fields and page regions that may contain confidential information.

You are responsible for notices, consents and lawful processing requirements that apply to the targets and test data you configure.

05

Enforcement

CrawlPanel may slow, block or suspend checks that threaten infrastructure, violate these rules or generate substantiated abuse reports. Urgent restrictions may be applied before notice when necessary to protect customers or third parties.

Repeated or serious violations may result in account termination and preservation of relevant records where legally required.

06

Send abuse reports to abuse@crawlpanel.com with the target, approximate time, source details and any relevant request identifiers. Security issues should be reported separately to security@crawlpanel.com.
